What is GriefShare?

GriefShare is a 13-week grief support program for people grieving the death of a family member or friend.  In a GriefShare group you will find others who understand the pain of the death of someone you love.  In a GriefShare group, you’ll learn helpful, practical information that will help you recover from the pain of grief and loss and you’ll have the chance to talk about your experiences.  Between the weekly sessions, you will have a workbook for personal study and to write down things you’ve learned.

GriefShare is a program open to Immanuel members and those in the community.  You are welcome to begin attending the GriefShare group at any session. Each session is “self-contained,” so you do not have to attend in sequence. You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin. You will be able to continue with GriefShare through the next 13-week cycle and view any of the videos you have not seen.

GriefShare continues

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, GriefShare is continuing in a new format. Participants will view the videos online at home, and then we will teleconference for discussion. Please pray that this will be an effective way to continue to provide GriefShare for those who are grieving. Questions can be directed to griefshare@immanuelolivette.org .
